This is a really beautiful album performed by the violin legend Nigel Kennedy. POLISH SPIRIT captures Kennedys deeply personal performances with the Polish Chamber Orchestra and conductor Jacek Kaspszyk. Though virtually unknown, these are concertos of shimmering beauty and memorable melodies, unquestionably deserving of a wider audience. As a bonus, two Chopin nocturnes transcribed for violin round out the program.
