Japanese pressing of the 2008 release of Narrow Stairs follows Death Cab for Cutie's 2005's Grammy Award-nominated Platinum album Plans. It is produced by the band's own Chris Walla, who has produced Death Cab's past five albums, as well as albums by Nada Surf and the Decemberists, among others. The first single 'I Will Possess Your Heart' received major markets adds and airplay within one day. Death Cab bassist Nick Harmer states, 'I hope this album is a bit of a surprise for those out there that think they have US all figured out.' This version includes two demos as bonus tracks. Warner.
