The musical geniuses behind 10cc, drummer and vocalist Kevin Godley and vocalist/multi-instrumentalist Lol Creme released their third album as a duo in 1979. As on their previous album they were accompanied by Roxy Music guitarist Phil Manzanera. There are guest appearances by Paul McCartney on "Get Well Soon" and ska and reggae trombonist Rico Rodriguez on the single "An Englishman In New York". The single is memorable for the innovative self-produced music video which involved Godley singing in front of Creme, as Creme conducted mannequins dressed up as members of a 1930's big band orchestra. It reached the Top 10 in several countries.
