Music Millennium

An excellent recording, his second as a leader, made in 1976 by legendary drummer Joe Chambers, who has played on many landmark Blue Note recordings with the likes of Bobby Hutcherson, Freddie Hubbard, Andrew Hill, Joe Henderson and many others. "New World" contains some heavy grooves as well as lighter and melodic compositions and of course lots of amazing drumming. This is the first time this rare record has been available on CD. Featuring Eddie Martinez - electric piano, Herb Bushler - bass, Omar Clay - percussion, Paul Metzke - guitar, Dick Meza - sax (tenor & soprano) and Ray Mantilla - conga, percussion.
