More Info:

Chicago-area band The Nasty has built a reputation for great songs and live performances that leave everyone screaming for more. This up-and-coming trio's eclectic sound combines elements of rock, funk, jazz, and pop into something the band calls groove rock. Comparisons have been made to the likes of The Who, Prince, and Ween. Anyone who has experienced The Nasty agrees that they are a force to be reckoned with. In 1999, brothers Sean and Matt Wilke teamed up with keyboardist Pat Droppleman to form The Nasty. Sean is the drummer and percussionist, and assists with backing-vocals. He is currently studying music management at Columbia College-Chicago. Younger brother Matt lays down the guitar and bass lines, shares lead-vocals, and pens many of their songs. Matt presently attends DePaul University. Pat completes The Nasty's distinct sound by sharing the role of lead-vocalist, putting down keyboard lines, and composing many of their songs. He is presently pursuing jazz studies at Northwestern University. This is the beginning of The Nasty's drive to the top. Dedication and hard-work has made the band successful throughout their short time together, and so far they are looking excellent.
