Digitally re-mastered two CD set containing a pair of albums (plus bonus tracks) from the Scottish Hard Rock legends. Released in 1989 in Europe and Japan only, Snakes 'N' Ladders was original guitarist Manny Charlton's last recording with Nazareth; a slick, sleek slab of Rock. Billy Rankin took on guitar duties for the follow-up, No Jive (1991), one of Nazareth's best long players, and his energy and powerful yet economical playing revitalized the group. Recorded in Germany, it bulges with hard-hitting rockers and high class ballads from a group high in confidence and was ecstatically received by the fans. The single 'Every Time It Rains' in particular is a true Nazi classic. Salvo.
