More Info:

Limited vinyl LP repressing includes bonus 7" pressing of the rare Move EP. 1979 solo debut from The Homosexuals bassist Jim Welton (aka. L. Voag). A band by the name of The Rejects were formed in the bar of Goldsmith's College in South London in 1976. The name The Rejects was too deeply embedded in what was regarded as "the new conformity of punk," leading to the name change to The Homosexuals. The band then lived in a series of squats while making music and recording. Their angular guitars, complex melodies, and experimental leanings distanced them somewhat from the punk rock being created by their contemporaries and cemented their reputation as a precursor to post-punk. The band members recorded in various combinations under several different pseudonyms. Contrary to often cited information about Homosexuals side projects, L. Voag's The Way Out was a Jim Welton solo album recorded during downtime between recording sessions at Surrey Sound.
