The music on the newly released 'Fight The Good Fight' comes mostly from the heart and head of tenor saxophonist Sue Orfield, but guitarist Mike Schlenker's songwriting is also featured on one track (Why Knot). The songs range from twisted, hard groovin' blues (Cut From Terry's Cloth), to joyful cartoon music (Inner Pippi), and, from the title track (Fight The Good Fight), a somber yet hopeful prayer for victims of cancer. Fight The Good Fight also features a full blown horn section the rich vocals of Randy Sinz and Dave Schrader.
