The Grammy Award winning group decided to return to their recording roots in Los Angeles and worked with famed producer Markus Dravs (Arcade Fire, Coldplay, Florence + the Machine). The album comes three years after their Grammy Nominated album Mechanical Bull. Lyrically, the album touches on band members' personal stories, which Q Magazine calls "goosebump inducing" and "worth holding your breath for." Kings of Leon formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2000. The band is composed of brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill with their cousin Matthew Followill.
