In 1963 he released his first recording as a leader, an impressive debut entitled "The Jack Wilson Quartet featuring Roy Ayers." Presented here is his highly acclaimed 1966 release with the quartet featuring Roy Ayers entitled "Ramblin'" which features Wilson on piano with Varner Barlow (drums); Monk Montgomery (bass) and Roy Ayers (vibes).
